MoveOn attacks McCain “gimmick” energy policy

Moveon.org has launched an ad attacking John McCain’s energy policy.

I know we’re all looking for relief from high gas prices, but is offshore drilling truly the answer? First of all, it will make a modest, at best, difference at the gas pump in terms of prices. Secondly, it would take years to even SEE any difference.
I realize the gas prices thing is a quandary of epic proportions, and frankly, I don’t know what the best way to attack it would be. In theory, reducing reliance and increasing production sounds great, but those are both pretty tall orders.
I think I’m going to invent a car that runs on Cheetos. As long as it doesn’t offend Cheesus.
He told his kids from the beginning that John McCain “was a principled guy”? When was this? Did I miss this phase? Was I alive at the time?
The dude shoulda just said, “You know what? I always thought John McCain was a prick. And now, I’m sure of it” and continued.
