Well I have an idea for you. It doesn’t even involve putting pictures of your no-no places on the internet!
All you have to do is arrest Condoleezza Rice. Pretty simple, right?
Apparently Dr. Rice is expected to visit New Zealand this weekend, and the reward is being offered to any Auckland University student who can successfully make a citizen’s arrest of the US Secretary of State.
David Do, the president of the Auckland University Student Association says she should be arrested for “overseeing the illegal invasion and continued occupation” of Iraq. He goes on to say that “it is hard enough living as a student in Auckland these days without having a war criminal coming to town, so we thought we’d give our students a chance to make a dent in their student loans and work for global justice at the same time.”
Condi will be in Auckland on July 26 to meet with Prime Minister Helen Clark and other politicians.
Whoever is going to try this should watch a few episode’s of Dog the Bounty Hunter. He can not only teach you how to take someone into custody, but how to rock a hot mullett AT THE SAME TIME. It’s like a miracle.
Commenting on the legality or illegality of the war is beyond stupid at this point so I wont bother with it. But I might suggest that five thousand dollars will not get you very far if you are taking a dirt bath. American diplomatic security is pretty good at what they do. Not to mention that they don’t have the rules of engagement restraints that our troops have to endure. Or that the New Zealand security people will be there also.
Dog is an interesting character for sure. He had an office on Sheridan Blvd. in Edgewater for quite a while. If you watched the Denver based shows, that is actually where he was. Once, a drunk pulled out onto the street, and hit one of our officers head on with his car. Then jumped out and took off running. Well, when I got there (this is when I was still working as a Paramedic, and I was stationed in Edgewater) Dog had tackled the bad guy and was holding him for the police. Dog, is not a very big guy, and the guy he took down was one big fella!
